Diesel Fitter – Fleet Services (Blackall)

Council is seeking a genuine and committed applicant to join our workshop in Blackall.

Role Overview: The successful applicant will be responsible for a wide range of servicing, repairs and maintenance on heavy plant and machinery, along with providing breakdown support out in the field.

Your Requirements:

• Construction Induction (White Card).
• Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics
• C class drivers’ licence.
• HR and Forklift licences (highly regarded).
• Be fit and healthy with the ability to lift heavy mechanical equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work unsupervised.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
